Cambridge High School Star, Kate Leibel (2022) has committed to The University of Arizona to continue her academic and soccer career. Kate is a returning two year starter for the Bears, playing attacking center midfield. In her freshmen season, she started all sixteen games and was named to the 2019 Region 7-6A All-Region 2nd Team. Despite her sophomore year being cut short due to COVID-19, Kate started all eleven games to help Cambridge remain undefeated in region play and carry a 8-1-2 record overall. She finished the season with 8 goals and 6 assists. Kate not only dominates on the field, but also in the classroom, as she has 4.0 GPA while taking some of the most challenging classes at the school. Leibel also plays club soccer for the Concorde Fire Platinum U18/U19 ECNL squad.
